Calling Volunteers - speech and debate judges need! No experience necessary

The Salt & Light Speech & Debate Club is hosting a tournament with almost 200 competitors from Oregon, Washington and Idaho, and they need judges!

No experience is necessary, really! All that's needed is for you to be able to listen well, make choices, and be at least 18 years old and not currently in high school. They will train you on the basics of the event, and how to fill out their ballot. All they need you to do is provide them with your honest opinion about the students' communication.

What is NCFCA? They are the third largest speech & debate league in the country, and their goal is to train Christian students to be effective in their analytical and oratorical skills, and use those real-world skills in a way that impacts their world, and honors their faith.

When is the tourament? February 10-12, 2011 (Thursday-Saturday)

Where? Falls Christian Assembly Church, 1687 East Horsehaven Avenue, Post Falls, Idaho 83854

Why? You're investing in the lives of our future parents, pastors, employees, employers, neighbors and community leaders! (And they give you tasty refreshments before & after rounds, just as an added incentive...)

How do you sign up? Simply go to www.signuptojudge.com and register for as many speech and/or debate rounds as you're able.

If you have any questions about judging, please email Carrie Summerlin, Judge Coordinator.
